STOCKTON, CA - A medical condition may have triggered the driver of a pick-up truck to crash into a bicyclist and office building on Swain Road late Tuesday morning, say Stockton police.
Lt. Tom Jernigan said the man on the bike suffered minor injuries. The driver went to a local hospital to be medically evaluated. He may have had a seizure, Jernigan said.
No one inside the Swain El Dorado Professional Offices was hurt.
The driver was on El Dorado Road at about 11:43 a.m. and turning onto Swain when Jernigan said his truck smacked into a signpost, signal light, the bicyclist, retaining wall, electrical power box and finally the offices.
